Like prom, but without the guys and drama. Sit down dinner and dance, with all proceeds benefitting Southwest Family Life Center, the battered families shelter (501c3). This will be a time when women from across Medina County can come together and connect over common interests - dinner, dancing and drinks! - and have a GREAT time, while raising money for a worthwhile organization that helps so many people at their most vulnerable time. It's like prom - so wear your old formal, get a new formal or come in jeans! As long as you have a good time, we don't care what you wear.
What is Southwest Family Life Center? Southwest Family Life Center provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and teen dating violence. They also provide general services to the community and inform and educate the community on domestic violence awareness and prevention. SWFLC serves Medina, Uvalde and Frio counties. Their main office is based in Hondo and they are a 501C3.
